Combating Human Trafficking course

Amman - Jordan

On Wednesday, August 13, 2025, the Jordan Hotels Association held a specialized training course on combating human trafficking, in cooperation with the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department. The course was attended by employees from three- and four-star hotels.

The training aimed to strengthen the tourism security system in the Kingdom by raising the awareness of hotel sector employees on how to identify and assist victims of human trafficking in accordance with professional standards and protocols. It also addressed procedures related to evidence collection in such cases, thereby contributing to the protection of tourism and heritage sites and enhancing the sense of safety among citizens and visitors.

During the workshop, the Association’s General Manager Mustafa Kawash, emphasized the commitment of the Association and its members to fulfilling their responsibilities toward the nation, with particular attention to the security of touristic and hotel establishments. He stressed that these efforts are part of the ongoing endeavor to ensure that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan remains a country of safety and security.

This course falls within the Association’s continuous efforts to develop the skills of hotel sector employees and enhance their ability to address security challenges, thereby reinforcing Jordan’s reputation as a safe and distinguished tourist destination at both the regional and international levels.
